So I’m going back in time trey lol. I’m trying to learn this call options stuff now that I’m confident in my buying knowledge of the basic market and crypto. Let’s go! lol
I rarely see a demonstration on how to Exit a Sell Put/Sell Call trade. To me exiting a Sell Put/Sell Call is counterintuitive. How do I Exit the trade with a profit? When learning the strategy, I didn't understand one must Buy a contract at a LOWER price to make a profit. I also didn't realize the Price/Premium NOT the price of the underlying stock is the amount to calculate to determine a profit. I was confusing stock strategy with options strategy. I think showing viewers step-by-step how to Exit a Sell Put Entry trade at 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100 using a LOWER Premium/Price on a trading platform is invaluable.

If you exercise the contract you don’t have to buy all 100 shares but can instead buy part of the shares can’t you?
Earnings calls and things like that are factored into call option prices btw
