FFS people $APE canNOT be made into AMC common shares without our approval. The important thing is that $APE literally cannot be synthesized. There's no options market for preferred securities. Let's face it, Adam found a major loophole in AMC's past that even he didn't know about and someone brought it to his attention and they can now dilute the crap out of every shareholder without AMC shareholder approval. I think it is rather scummy. I am long by the way and not crazy about this.

If you don't see the massive benefit to AA coming out with APE.. your small brain. This was an absolute boss 4d chess move! He solved all the problems in on fell swoop! Don’t you think the reason APE was created was to sustain the company once the squeeze causes mass liquidation? As we know, Hedgies would need to buy back (at whatever cost) and it’ll be within their nature to manipulate the stock once it’s in their possession to a point of extinction (again). They tank the company as a consequence; then APE would sustain the value of AMC. I feel that could really be a reason why Adam has done this. He knows MOASS is around the corner but his job is to keep the lights on once the theater has emptied out. APE’s value could be that saving Grace and why it’s being siphoned from the common stock itself. I suppose my theory Isn’t too far fetched.

Started with 100$ of amc.. after split will have 50$ of ape 50$of AMC. 1 for 1 split. The penny is what Adam pays to issue the shares and not their value. Clearly stated in his tweets.
And I never agreed to buy a synthetic share you need to not be in share lending if your not you own a share !
He’s also AA that is , said to convert APE to AMC stock would take a share holder vote , no till after MOASS !
AMC now is $20, after APE, it is $10, same margin requirement as long as above $10, that is why short seller pushed AMC to $20 before split. Regarding to APE, it is their next battle with AMC holders. My opinion is Adam uses APE to forcing short seller to buy more APE, then he can cash in to pay down debt. So Adam is doing good thing for the company long term. For APE, will be a pop then dumped. How long the pop will last? Depending on Adam or Apes how high the APE price can satisfy them.
