Is it only me, or is the last 20 mins of this video silent?
Hey, this is out of the absolute blue but I am trying to reach someone who may be able to share a concept with other apes. I can't post, low karma and don't use reddit much to gain karma. However, I have a theory that may yield some bananas for us apes.
I have noticed the cost of borrowing is always really low, like 1%. It has been this way for a while now. I remember a time when it was much higher pre June run up. My thought is, what caused this drop in cost? I postulate that it was caused by a flood of synthetics during the June run up causing institutions to be much more willing to lend out shares for cheap as they are now competing with each other and thus lower the cost.
I don't know how to really check this theory but I am reaching out to apes across the board and see if anyone with more wrinkles can find anything.
