What's up all you beautiful people, this is trace asmr, i'm just playing. What is up. Everybody welcome to trace trades. We have technical analysis and different stocks in the stock market, as well as potential buy, hold or sell opinions on these given stocks, i like your profits by saying that i'm not a financial advisor, no experts so take it to say the grain of salt.

Let's get into the video today my friends we're giving you an update on ticker symbol, mvi s, micro vision - and i am down on this in my weeble account, but up on this a lot in my other brokerage account and i'll. Tell you what this is. My favorite girl, oh my favorite stock in the entire market. Our girl mavis, has always been an absolute powerhouse and she's doing a little bit of a correction there for a while.

But we're going to give you guys an update on microvision, because i think some of us might need a little bit of uh affirmation a little bit of a reminder what we're holding in terms of this stock. This is my favorite long-term stock that i have in my entire portfolio. I will not be selling this anytime soon. I really do truly believe this can be a triple digit stock by the end of the year, and i'm going to show you a couple reasons why so we're going through the fundamentals of the company? The? Why? Why should you care? Why is this an awesome company, followed by some good numbers, write some things to know some recent news catalyst and then the meat potatoes, which is the charting set up so we're gon na look at the one month chart as well as the one day.

One minute chart to give uh both a macroscopic, a microscopic perspective of the price action. I've got a couple. Different indicators pulled up the rsi down here, which is a relative strength index, anything where 70's overbought anything under 30 is oversold, and then i've got the 200 ema and the 15 day ma i'm going to turn off the v wob, because i just used that for Day trading, the 200 dm is the exponential moving average. This is a price, action-based valuation trend line over a 200-day moving period, which gives us a macroscopic perspective of price action and then the 15-day ma, which is the moving average.

This is the same thing as the sma, the simple moving average. Some brokerage accounts just call it different things. This is a microscopic perspective of overall price action over a 15 day moving period, we usually side by side, so we can predict upcoming, breakouts breakdowns, increasements of volatility decreasements in volatility, consolidation periods, the whole nine yards right, so we're gon na try and give you guys. Some good entry points if you're looking to double down on your position, it does look like.

We have finally found the bottom of this falling knife right and if you were able to average down the whole way down right, that does not matter you're gon na be just fine, my friends that is uh. That is not the end of the world, because sometimes it is incredibly difficult to time the bottom to a t, it's tough to say, hey, would this have stopped right here, or this have stopped at that technical support down here in the eight dollar range? Nobody knows for sure right, but this is where we're sitting right now. This might be the bottom. It might not be the bottom, but we're going to give you the update that we have for you guys, anyways.

So, let's get into the video. What do these guys? Do why should you care why why why microvision right well, this is obviously my favorite stock. Have you been watching the channel for a while? You already know this, but if you're new to the channel, i'm going to show you some of their tech, which is absolutely insane so they've got a bunch of different intellectual properties, the mems design systems, hardware, design, silicon design, source coding, optomechanical design and a bunch of Patents and patents are awesome because it guarantees them cash revenue every single year over year over year, right if they need to sit on some cash that can sell a patent and then have liquid uh. You know liquidization or liquidation uh to fuel some operations if they need to these guys are a huge technology sector, they're they're huge.

In fact, i would say that they're, like the tesla of the lidar sector, they've, got so much different technology that they're working on, and why do i say that we'll check this out? They've got the projection engine and interactive projection engine right, which is uh awesome technology that is not even closer related to their lidar tech, which everybody is excited about. Uh projection engine man. Now that not not nothing crazy, but the interactive one is really cool cause. It can project right on your desktop and you can play some candy crush watch some uh watch some freaking.

You know vlad attentive hearings, whatever you want to do. It's just cool tech. You've got the consumer 3d ladder sensor for for smart home applications. This enables the next level in home automation, security with an adaptable, high resolution, low latency 3d ladder sensor, so that's great for at home security.

The projection engine is super cool guys. This enables ar mr and vr - and this is actually related to some technology you've. Seen with ivas tech, that's utilized by the aviation sector of the army, which allows them to navigate the skies more freely, so that's huge right and ar vr is really starting to become more of a mainstream thing in the next coming. You know, i would say the last year and it's even just keeps on progressing down and down and down down the road.

But this is not what they're they're leaders in right. There's competition in ar there's competition in at home security, maybe not lidar sensors, but there's competition in projection engines right where there's not really competition in right now is this automotive 3d ladder sensor, as well as the consumer 3d ladder sensor? I think this is a good double whammy, double sword for them to really double down on. We are expecting a presentation to come up on this sometime in april, which is coming up a lot sooner than we think my friends, it's really really getting close, so these are the times when we got to stay true to our convictions, because what we love about This company is this 3d lidar sensor. Now.

How does this compare to some other companies right? So i remember there was a live stream once where i was talking about microvision someone was like nah dude they're, not laser they're, not laser right, but uh. What are you looking at if you're looking at lasers, lidar tech? Let's just take a quick peek? I want to give you guys about the pros and the cons. We look at lasers, tech. We can just take a quick peek.

They call it the luminar, so their luminar tech is essentially i'm just going to click out of this. The luminar attack is similar to that lidar right where it allows autonomous driving. So we take the guesswork out of autonomy as a standard for performance and safety in the industry. We reliably see where objects are and what they are even at long distances.

Farther sight means enough time to react safely, even at highway speeds. So they've got a laser. A single 15 150 nanometer fiber laser that enables long range with one million times pulse energy of 905 nanometers, while staying eye safe they've got a scanner, receiver, processing, electronics, advanced perception, yada yada yada, but if we just take a peek at the microvision prototype that has Come out right this, i really truly do believe, and it would take me a 30 minute video to go through all this, but maybe i will down the road you guys. Let me know in the comment section.

I really do believe that uh microvision has the potential to oh. I forgot to have laser up to to be the leader to take over in in place of laser. In fact, laser, i think, is an example of how far microvision could go. So if we just find this news, article really quick, i'm going to see if i can find it, it would have been way back here when it had this initial spike on the 10th.

So that would be around the 10th and we're just gon na pull this up really quick, uh the 10th you can see here. Let me just pause the video quick all right here we go so we've got this pulled up right. They were talking about this new uh long-range light art, goddang, seeking alpha they're, always doing this, but a bunch of jerks all right here we go. This should do it anywho they they released their long-range lidar sensor a sample their prototype right.

We expect micro visions long range light. Our sensor, which has been in development for over two years to meter, exceed requirements established by oems for autonomous safety and autonomous driving features, the long range of at least 250 meters and the highest resolution at range of any lidar. According to this article, with 340 vertical lines, up to 250 meters, 568 up to 120 944 up to 60., this equates to 520 points per square degree. Now, i'm not a physician, a physician, a physicist by any means, so i can't tell you exactly what that comes out to in terms of spec, but we can get into that down the road.

So i really do believe that this company can be a great competition to laser, which is currently the leader in the industry, so take that for what it is. Uh it's gon na be a shift in demand. Personally, in my on my opinion over to microvision, if they do end up capitalizing on that uh lidar technology, so coming over here to some press releases, we do know they have fourth quarter and full year, 2020 results coming up on march 11th. 2021..

If you are interested in checking that out uh, that is something that you should probably know about, and the institutional ownership promising at 22.11, 32.3 million shares being held out of 146 million total shares outstanding on the stock. I'm not going to talk about squeeze potential on this, because this is not a stock that i am going to be even thinking about in terms of a squeeze the only way, or only reason that i would take profits on this is if it for some reason, The score is up to like 100 bucks, because that's what i think the stock is worth so i'm gon na wait it out. I'm gon na keep playing this this baby and i'm gon na just write it out because that's i just you got ta know the difference between your long-term stocks and your short-term stocks. So that is what this is.

For me. This is a long-term stock baby. So with that being said, what are we looking at on the chart set up, but we did have a head and shoulders pattern up here right. So here's the head: here's the shoulder! Here's the shoulder, neckline! You would normally call this a george w, however, that head and shoulders pattern does trump that grhw setup.

So we had a little bit of a sell-off right sold off down here to about 1248 a little bit of a nice bounce, all the way back up to 1962. And then we had the tech correction which took place alongside the nasdaq uh for the last week, or so we have broken out of this downward channel, though so that's good. You can see that we've broken this downward, this descending level of resistance with a wide range candle. It has closed open and closed above that we are now starting some consolidation phase, which is great, and we do have a little bit of a george w set up here again so check this out.

We've got one bottom, two bottoms right here and green in the pre-market. Although there's not a lot of action, not a lot of volume right, i don't think uh. I i think this is going to be the bottom. I think this is very close to the bottom.

We might have a little more of a correction, so maybe re-test ten dollars one more time, it's possible right. I do think the nasdaq has a little left, a little room left to correct if it is going to. However, uh i this is going to stand by this is going to stand by. I think that's 12 bucks, this area, this neck of the woods, is now going to be the absolute bottom on microvision.

So we've broken out that descending level of resistance we're out of that downward moving channel. We got a nice big fat george w set up right here on the charts. We got a new ascending level of support right. We always look for three touch points.

We in fact get them check this out. One two, three four different candles touching this level of support, which means it's respected. So if we continue to ride on this ascending level of support, that is what you're going to be looking at for an entry point. If you want to add to your position, double down in your position establish a position whatever whatever the case may be.

This is a long-term stock, so you really need to be patient here and that's we're. Looking at on the one month chart the 15 ma trading underneath the 200 dma, but they are about parallel now, which indicates a decreasement in volatility. Typically right volume, nothing outstanding, nothing, crazy that we're looking at right now. What i'm most interested in is the rsi right.

So there seems to be a huge level of resistance. You can see it very clear right here at about 13, so if we get that push over 13 bucks right, you can just see that this double top right here lines up perfectly with that 13 mark. I think it is going to come with a pretty explosive move because it keeps getting halted literally right here at that 13 mark, and if we get that push over right, i think it's going to come because there's not a lot of support or resistance in this Area of the woods 13 to 1575 right. So, if we break over that, it's going to come with quite a few dollars of change.

So if you want to get a nice solid position in this, you really do want to try and get in under 13 bucks, because that is going to be a critical level of resistance. And once we push over that not a lot of price action in here and it's going to fill that gap up pretty freaking quick, so come over here to the one day one minute chart, as i mentioned, pretty flat, not a lot of volume pumping into this. This is a long-term stock, so don't sweat this day-to-day price action right. That's not concerning me in the least bit you just got ta play the long game with microvision long game with the lidar that is i'm so stupid.

I shouldn't have my own jokes, like that um, but i do anyway, but i do anyway anyways. That is what i have for the video today.
