Hi trey, been following you for over a year now, and have a question that's been bugging me for a long time. I'm probably completely wrong but…
Is "buy the dip" the psyop we were warned about long ago?
Back in jan 21, when price was rocketing, and fomo kicking in, and they took away the buy button, people were buying and selling at those higher prices, right? We valued the stock at that price.
But after more than a year of DCA and buying the dip, the price has continually gone down. As we "valued" the stock at those prices by buying and selling. Mostly hf and shortsellers benefit from the low price, but we can also increase our positions by buying the dip. But, now wouldn't it be better to buy the rip instead? To mimic the run we had back in jan 21?
Sure we can say the DD is done, crime is the reason for our stocks price now. But what if it is our own doing? Buying the dip just price anchoring ourselves?
I dunno, it was just bugging me.

Great< video; This is a scary time for new investors but the best thing you can do is not to make decisions based on emotions. This could actually be a good time to buy more of your high conviction stocks or crypto on a discount. Wealth is created during bear markets, not bull markets. If your portfolio is really effecting your mental health then delete the app and go for a walk. Let the market do its thing and have a long time horizon
