We are stronger today we are stronger, let's talk about that, that state of the union and why that is ultimately important, so the state of the union, you might have seen this acronym floating around so too uh. That's that's the state of the union, which is uh. Where biden gave a speech uh regarding a bunch of different topics. He opened it up with ukraine, but he badly miscalculated.

Instead, he met with a mall a wall of strength. He never anticipated or imagined. He met ukrainian people now a lot of people, including myself. I think we're looking forward to hearing more about this ukraine situation.

He did touch on a couple different things he touched on oil. I can announce. The united states has worked with 30 other countries to release 60 million barrels of oil from reserves around the world. You might notice that some oil stocks today are going uh are going pretty pretty nuts.

I think that xom may have been one of them. Let me pull this up: yeah exxon exxon, which is exxon, mobil uh, having a pretty decent uh move. You can see. This is an oil and gas company.

It ran up to about 82 and 15 cents and i think some people likely made some money on that. But nonetheless uh he talked a little bit on on oil and uh sort of the situation with oil within russia and i'm taking robust action to make sure the pain of our sanctions is targeted at russian economy. Uh briefly touched on some more other energy uh situations, but oil kind of ties into this, but the next few days weeks and months will be hard on them. Personally, i believe the restrictions they had on oil is is goofy.

I i can get into the numbers of that here in a little bit uh, but they touched on this. They touched on energy and they basically just gave a pep rally. Saying uh, you know the people of ukraine, uh they're in our hearts, didn't really address sort of uh. The united states is uh the united states involvement and what that would kind of look like moving forward.

Uh, i'm assuming it's standing by sort of the situation being hey if they get involved with any other nato countries uh, then that's sort of gon na be the line in which you know if you cross that the united states is going to get involved, the united States and our allies will defend every inch of territory, that is nato territory for the full force of our collective power, every single inch uh - and in that case you know you're watching out for uh, perhaps the china and taiwan situation as well. I think that's something that uh could escalate: uh, not just the ukraine and russia and how this is currently sitting, but uh sort of the global war situation. Uh, ukraine and russia kind of happening right now, and it's no secret that china has sort of been looking over taiwan at the exact same time. So i i i'm standing by two uncertainties.

Uh, you know by didn't really address as much as i was hoping. He would regarding uh sort of nuclear and the threat of cyber attacks, because both of these tie in directly to uh russia, and both of these to me are uncertainties that have not quite been met until i don't feel like. This is a threat anymore, and i don't feel like this is a threat anymore. I think there are still uncertainties that could take place in the market in the future, but we'll see how that uh, how that is in the future.
