Differentiating it's important to be able to differentiate uh, a retail short seller or a good short seller from an institutional or bank level, short seller and nefarious level short seller right. These people uh, are part of our community, not maybe not the amc community per se, but the way that things are expanding. The way that people are educating we've all seen it right. People are branching out and doing new things.

You're, seeing new people come into the community and try to educate and uh, sometimes they're pushed away because they mention things being bearish. They mention things looking like a good short and that's not necessarily them being chilly. It's them giving a perspective from the opposite side of that particular technical setup. The first thing that pops in your mind, when you think of a short seller right, you think of some suited up jackass sitting behind a desk, probably in the big c's office sitting there rubbing his hands thinking piss on these guys right, they're, just trying to burn Things to the ground, and that is one conception of a short seller right and i think it's the one and if you're too, you know identify an enemy that you probably have the correct one with.

But there are times in which a short seller gets confused with uh. You know a retail short seller, institutional short selling is drastically different than retail short selling. Nefarious short selling is much different than normal short selling. Right short selling, in case you do not know, is just a normal function of the market in which you you try to sell a stock high and you try to buy it back lower and you make the profit difference in between those different price points.

Right in a normal operating market, that is an absolutely okay thing to do where you run into problems with short selling, is not when it's being operated from a normal perspective, which is how retail investors typically are operating short selling if they do decide to do so. Where you run into problems is where short selling is abuse right, big institutions, big banks, big market makers, whatever right they're, all using different tactics, whether it be you know, mainstream media corruption, whether it be putting out hit pieces, whether it be synthetic shares, whether it be Options and derivatives and all those sort of things right, those all are nefarious short selling much different than that of what you'd see from a retail trader truth be told, i'm not a short seller right. I don't like the short stocks. Have i went long on puts before meaning abide to open, sell to close put position? Yes, but i do not like short selling stocks, i don't like the risk associated nonetheless right.

It's important to be able to have that desire right. The desire to watch shorts burn not be directed towards retail investors, who are just on the opposite side of the trade of zoo right. Do i think, they're right sometimes, no, i think, there's i think, there's some shorts that i watch people think and i'm like. That's not it's not what i would do right now, not my move, but at the end of the day, it's a piece of the market and for you to win.
That means that somebody else loses a hard truth of the way that the market operates. I think it's important to be able to look at those things so that you can recognize that okay, yes, maybe this is the opposite of what i personally believe uh, but that's taking it from an emotional response. Instead of from that technical response right, i don't. I don't agree with a lot of the stuff that i see on twitter.

I don't agree with a lot of the perspectives of some short sellers, but there are some that i do agree with right. Let's just look at it from a actual technical perspective. From from a stock to a stock to a stock right, you could have picked a lot of different securities over the last three or four weeks and if you'd shorted them a month ago, you would have made money. Did i do that? No i'm a long sort of guy right.

I like to go long on stocks, and then i play options if i want to play the short side of something right. If i want to play a put on lucid, that's my way of going long to to manage my risk, because then i'm only able to lose a set amount of capital, but nonetheless right this perspective is important because ultimately, it's a key to educating ourselves as retail Investors to be able to continue to level up the game, because the way the market operates is based off of darwinism. It's adapt evolve or you die right. You don't want to be left in the dust, especially when market conditions are changing on a day-to-day basis.

Now, if you are simply an amc, buying, holder right and all that, you're gon na do is buy and hold amc, that's perfectly fine, but to drive away people who may be offering a different perspective from their own personal retail experiences is a little bit different of A story right there's a lot of harm and risk to that misconception and that level of definition and defining of a retail short seller simply based off of the fact that they have a different viewpoint from you, a different reality than you. We can't be doing those things, there's experience, there's knowledge, there's stories, there's people behind uh those those sort of uh talks right, and i think it's important to be able to hear them out, at the very least, to challenge your own perspectives. So with that being said, the understanding that i'm trying to uh personally take myself and here's a personal story right when i first got into the market in uh, you know october-ish of 2020. I watched everything take place back in january february march and i hated short sellers hated them right.

I i despised it. I just cursed in the air i said curses, damn short sellers, stealing my onions, stealing my barbecue sauce. I can't i can't pay my electric bill. You know a bunch of that sort of emotional response was my immediate reaction to watching the way that our the market operated the gut wrench feeling right it kicks you right in the emotions you think to yourself.
How can this even happen? How can how can somebody bet against my long position, but it's just the opposite side of your trade right when you lose it's because they're making money when you win it's because they're losing money in stocks like bbig or prague or bkkt or sprt or or the Blah blah ttt right, there's a short seller that was likely retail that lost that you could win something to keep in mind right. It's a piece of the market that operates. Is it silly, sometimes right of course, of course, there's bad shorts, but there's also bad lungs. In the same way that you've got pump and dump longers out there, people who abuse and abuse followings to pump up a stock.

You also have a bad short there's good longs, there's good shorts, bad lungs, bad shorts. At the end of the day, it's all market mechanics as long as it's being used in the proper way. So if you're going to address the sort of anger that you see right, that you feel about short selling, don't direct it at your neighbor who just happens to be on the opposite side of the coin. As you directed at the hedge, the maniacs, the sociopaths at the top of the pyramid that convince you that these people are your problem because they're not they're, 150 000 are not your issue.

They don't even have enough money to move the market right. The people who cause you problems are the people at the top. It's institutions, it's banks, it's hedge funds. It's all those big boys wearing suits and their comfy chairs that go and can hide out at a island anytime.

They want when the market starts, taking a dump and pretend that life never happened and their hands are clean because they're sitting on billions of dollars. Those are the crooks you should be directing attention to, and i think it's very important to be able to differentiate that and that's what i've got for this video. So my friends, my family, my fellow girly gangs, always much love to all of you - light taps peace.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Don Lord says:

Tomorrow at 3:15 pm est Millions of AMC retail stock holders are banning together and buying to see if we can push the line, the actual purpose is to demonstrate to the Gov the undisputable market manipulation by the hedge funds. Blackrock loaned the hedgies 7 million shares for tomorrow, This is the fight get in it if you can

federick– wow being a banker is reallyO impressive but like my uncle said he never met so many dumb people in the banking business. IF you want to talk credentials, I OWNED at one time seats on every exchange in the usa and foreign ones as well.WE TRADED in one day over 100,000,000 million shares in a day . IF i am short the jan 20 call and long the jan 20 put that is equivalent of being short synthetic. I have long and short positions throughout my portfolio. Real companies don't care about short sellers…..

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars X3 Turbo says:

Ultimately you have to remember that you only make money in the market when they let you…. they can "Manipulate the Market" whenever they want with no consequences

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ford GT says:

Hey Trey…. you got me thinking. Why do these hedge funds manipulate more on the downside as opposed to a pump and dump?

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars RobTackettCovers says:

I thought of something…here is the theory: what if this drop in EVERYTHING is an attempt to tempt people to bail on thier long positions, because their positions consist heavily of synth (fake) shares, and this is an attempt to purge the market of as many fake shares as they can, as to get them off the books?

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Forau DNB says:

I despise short selling, no matter who does it, just like I despise call options and other derivatives. It's all parasitic activity. If you believe in a stock, buy it. If you dont, dont buy it. Irresponsible stock market bets have serious real world consequences.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Morgan says:

This video means nothing at around the four minute mark you say you will die if you don’t adapt to the market that does not apply to 99% of anyone watching this video because you cannot adapt to something that is being done illegal like you said we don’t have the power to move the market visually on her chart and these guys do it this is looking like one of the biggest pumpkin dump schemes ever.

Hey I get this. I've been bearish for a while cs it's been on a down trend. Doesnt mean I am not long term bullish. Still holding for higher highs. No way in hell would I want to short a stock. I disagree with the whole concept.

Got people spilling their hearts in the comments over here and all these people can get is a bot attaching to their comment with a whatsapp number claiming to be trey.
