Amc and gme partnership yeah - i should have stayed up so late another day, another nickel after taxes. Let's get on twitter, this fox well benzinger. What about bloomberg can't be real. These got it all wrong.
I'm safe yeah, i've done a bit of an investigation turns out that this article that was getting circulated around on bloomberg was not that uh accurate here's, the story, what ended up happening well, i was on my drive back from work and i'm scrolling through my phone. Looking at you know, what's uh what's happening on the news, so i go through my brokerage and i see on amc's news tab that afc may be pursuing a potential nft partnership with gamestop, and i thought to myself. This is pretty cool tweeted. It out made a video right talked about.
I found a cool way to present the information in an entertaining way. At least i think right well come to find. I i read through some replies and uh wanted to do some digging. So i have some information here for you to get to the bottom of the story and uh.
Let's dig into this. First and foremost thanks to the mass investor for giving me uh giving me some help with this. So what we have here is this particular screenshot. Reading from the top now we wait, you have this photoshopped image from adam aaron, just applied for gamestop's nft platform think i'll be accepted retweeted by the way by walter bloomberg from walter bloomberg.
It says, as such, amc ceo, adam aaron, reportedly pursuing gamestop partnership through gamestop's nft marketplace platform. So this is what you can deduce ended up happening. The amc community separate there's a secondary community or tertiary or some other uh, perhaps not even community, but a single person who decided to make a decision. That decision was to photoshop something maybe to be a joke, maybe with malicious intent.
I don't really know right at the end of the day, i'm not that person that can't speak for them, but what i can say is uh that photoshop image got picked up by walter bloomberg, which then got referenced into brokerage news as bloomberg. Maybe this was referring to the man himself. Maybe this was referring to the actual news agency, whatever right, but at the end of the day, this ended up on brokerage news, which then was referenced by benzinga, which was then referenced by bunches of people on twitter and at the end of the day, it's a Big freaking silly chicken situation where uh you've got a bunch of people kind of doing the spider-man meme pointing back and forth like you're the face you're the who started this problem, you're the guy who did this when, in all reality, it derives from somebody who likely Had bad intentions, perhaps a villain at the very least the person in the discord message, as you guys read uh now we wait does sound pretty ill-willed uh and as if it was meant to spread, perhaps misinformation. Now i'm not a philosopher by no means do.
I have uh, maybe like some life lesson to the story, but i will tell you this: there are people out there who don't have good intentions, who perhaps uh want things for you and and for other people, not necessarily to go as planned, maybe to even go Poorly and it's it's important to be diligent of that, and let me tell you this right: i was not i i looked at my brokerage news. I scrolled. I saw bloomberg referencing freaking the possibility of amc pursuing some sort of partnership with gamestop and nfts, and you think that something along those lines would particularly be accurate and uh did not think to cross-reference bloomberg with bloomberg uh via different platforms. So with that being said, whoever that was uh in that discord message your mom's a chicken - and i don't appreciate that. That's not very nice, that's not nice at all and uh. Please don't do that sort of right be good people. Uh photoshopped images can go, can go a long ways and uh. I guess that's that's about it.
So just want to give you the scoop in case anybody was wondering very likely, not true news uh. That's all that i know catch all the next one. My friends like zaps, i almost light tap with my well the peace sign that was kind of weird get to the next one. Peace.

Anyways, I see this as an absolute win. We just exposed that the news does almost NO homework when they create their articles. It is clear manipulation.
I didn't commit to the partnership happening because I only saw the one reference, but everyone was getting hyped about it. I'm glad the community came together to smack the misinformation down like the champs we are. But for your videos, both of these were entertaining as fk and probably the best way to handle it, across all the creators I've seen so far.
That's why we don't get excited without doing a little bit of research.
