Good afternoon baby, it's your boy, troy coming back again for another freaking live stream. It's always a pleasure, always a blast. Welcome to uh the traders podcast, where we talk fast, don't skip class. We go over a couple different things.

We're gon na talk about. Some information. Talk about some stocks, talk about squeeze signals, talk about mainstream media, talk about earnings, perhaps talk about lots of stuff and no, we were not late, but even if i was late, he wouldn't catch me on it. Anyways, because guess what i'm crim chamber not gon na catch me late, i can't be late, i'm always on time.

It's gon na be bad. First and foremost, amc has been going uh on a pretty decent little rampage. Here. Look at this on the weekly.

It's overall up about 24 on the week compared to last week's 1.93 uh solid rip. We have not had a week that green in a very long time. You come back in fact wow yeah. The last time we have had a week that green was uh literally back here 83.

It was on the week of june. 4Th was the last time we have been up that much 24 or greater uh this week we're up 19 percent. This week we were up five percent. This week we were up eighteen percent this week, we're up fourteen percent this week.

Even we're only up seventeen percent right now we're currently up twenty three point: nine percent of the week so been a long time. It's been a long time since amc has been this green uh. What is this coming off of? Well, if you look at this on a uh on a 15-minute chart, you come back. You can see that 13 and 40 cents.

You have started to set a new uptrend for the overall stock yesterday in my stream uh. I personally believe that you're gon na see some form of a pullback. I do not think you were actually gon na break this uh, this momentum level right away and then ultimately get the pullback, but we did test out 20 and now it just pulled back from that level and on the 15-minute chart you can see that it's trying To find a bottom on this momentum level, which is the red line that i had highlighted yesterday, that is a good thing right, that's good! A bounce off of this 18.85 line is going to be a bullish sign to come back up and ultimately re-test 20. Bucks is good, that's bullish, and if you get that bounce, that's uh, ultimately a sign that we could continue on into uh some more bullish territory.

So i'm watching for that, i'm watching for that 1885 bounce uh for amc, and i always find this to be fascinating. I tweeted this out i'd like to hear what you guys think about this check. This right. We come over to twitter.

I tweeted this out and i find this to be uh fascinating this week. Amc at the time of that tweet was up 30, but mainstream media had said nothing. It's weird how, when we're read, it's amc is done every day, but it's never. Vice versa.

Right check! This out, we come over here to amc news right now. What do you see? Amc renews six series, including keenan, bloodlands, gamestop and amc are rising again. Why the rally may be short-lived. Look at that wow, that's crazy, how they would say it may be short-lived.

It's crazy how they have a bias on that. It's crazy how the stock is up and they're like. Oh, oh, this is cool, but not gon. Na last have fun guys! Amc, theater, uh, amc, stock theater chain thinks popcorn can save its business.

It can't little did you know. I'm gon na have a nice talk about this today, because the the profit margins on popcorn is actually it's very good. Theater chain thinks popcorn can save its business. It can't, and then this just goes on to say uh now, unless a film features spider-man something fast and furious, or maybe a bunch of dinosaurs, more people are preferring to stay at home and stream uh rather than head out to the movie theater.

I find it interesting. I find an interesting chat that uh, that amc always just gets negative press, no matter what the stock is doing on any given day, no matter what uh, no matter, what the the word on the street is regarding earnings regarding the vice president. Being hired regarding actual profitability on popcorn, let's talk about perhaps uh some of the changes are coming from the sec. You know you got a lot of things that are going to affect the way that every stock in the stock in the stock market trades, including small, mid cap companies such as amc.

But it's only over things like this look. Theater chain thinks popcorn can save its business. It can't it can't. Popcorn doesn't make money, popcorn loses money.

I don't expect to make money selling popcorn. No, that's that's absolute. It just doesn't make sense. You look at the trend of amc stock, my friends and every single quarter quarter over quarter over quarter over quarter, adam aaron has proved again and again and again and again that he knows how to grow a company.

It's grown, we're growing in revenue, we're growing in uh. We have a positive eba dot right from quarter. Four or early is beautiful. It's a good thing.

You really wan na see how much money you make on popcorn. What is the profit margin on popcorn popcorn? Is a nostalgic and delicious treat for customers that can boast profit margins of 80 to 90 percent? Why is popcorn so expensive at movie? Theaters 90 profit margin come on. Where do you see that? Where do you ever see? Something like that you want to tell me: you can't make money selling popcorn these uh, these these articles are goofy and amc is one of the only companies, latin gamestop and a couple other. You know small small names they just find excuse after excuse, after excuse after excuse to tell you uh that you'll you'll never see attendees you'll, never see this company go green.

I mean it's done it's over. It's short-lived! It's this! It's that, but the reality of the story is this: mainstream media is a dying breed and the way that they keep you engaged on their platform is by selling you whether it's oh look at this. This stock of people like this people. What would make people want to watch us huh well make them want to watch us? Well, it's probably if we piss in their cheerios, and we tell them that this is a.

This is a dead company and it's never going to do anything. And then it's only going to go down that you're wasting your money on this investment and you got to put it somewhere else right. They know how to get people's attention. It's by preaching hate, preaching the opposite of what you want to hear, because negativity gets more clicks than positivity.

I've seen it personally on youtube right. That's why people click bait, people! It's why people do uh, whatever the hell they want to talk about, they just exacerbate it because they know what gets clicks and uh. It's not the way. Man, that's what you see with mainstream media.

In fact, i think this is probably the best way to uh to illustrate mainstream media. Is this meme coming from salvatore? If you haven't checked this guy out, he's he's a funny ass guy well worth checking out how mainstream media's wants us to uh, believe the markets work and then here's reality over here with uh the rubber band tying all the fat behind his back. That's some pretty funny stuff and that's that's the honest to god. Truth, my friends seriously, there's very few people that i actually enjoy watching.

One of them is charles payne i'll. Tell you that with uh with a smile on my face, because charles payne to me has stood up for the little guy has actually gave a uh about about the little guy and, to some extent right. Everybody has their their own reason that in which they try to join something, i mean to say that uh apes haven't helped out charles payne, because we have, you know that'd be silly it'd, be it would be goofy thing to say, because ultimately, retail investors have helped Out charles payne a lot in fox business, a decent amount uh outside of some of the names of people who obviously don't deserve respect, which is charles gasparino, but payne right he's one of a very, very select few that deserve attention. I'll tell you guys this uh! I'm not gon na talk about the platform.

I'm not gon na talk about the offer, i'm not going to talk about the names, but i was offered a job from mainstream media and i turned it down. I turned it down because of one simple reason: it'd be very easy for me to take a check every year, have a guaranteed salary, never have to worry about. Uh views never have to worry about trading. Never have to worry about this.

I ever have to worry about that, but then i'm a hypocrite, then i just joined the thing that i hate mainstream media. So i turned it down. I don't know if that's worth a nickel for you um, but that was an offer on the table and i didn't accept it. So you guys are stuck with me.

Unfortunately, sorry to tell you but anyways the vice president. They are, they hired check this. Out importantly, we just hired a new amc. Vice president ellen koppenkin has a ton of brand management and grocery experience at pepsico, frito-lay and hostess brands.

Her first assignment for amc will be to quarterback the rollout in 2022 of our new broad-based home popcorn initiatives, pretty interesting, stuff right here right and basically what her expertise. As you can see by the job experience she has pepsico frito-lay hostess brands. It's it's far less about a brick and mortar location and more about how you can expand a specific product right. Pepsico is marketing free to lay marketing, hostess brands marketing.

So the challenge that i think amc is going to face with making popcorn a profitable venture is uh very simple: they're going to have to be able to market their popcorn and compete against other popcorn. That's either a tastier b, cheaper or c, already accessible and already marketable right, uh. There's such a thing as brand supremacy, and personally i really like amc popcorn i'd go out of my way to buy it right, but those who haven't had it are gon na have to learn that amc. Popcorn is good, so they're gon na have to market it very well and i'm assuming that's where uh ellen copelhagen copenhagen uh it comes into the equation.

So i guess we'll see we'll see how that rolls out and how that goes. But i think it'll go pretty well, i think it's a good move on on amc's end and then the last thing i'd like to discuss in terms of what's going on here with amc that i'd like to actually probably uh, give you a little bit of a Grain of salt on right is this: squeeze uh indicator check this out. This is coming from ortex uh on amc. Right happened with gamestop2, so i'll read over that in just a sec short squeeze trading signals on amc.

Two short squeeze signals were generated based on the recent price increase in the high shorting level in uh amc, ortex training signals are based on historical performance and are not investment advice now. The reason i want to bring this up uh is is pretty much based on this piece right here or text. Training signals are based on historical performance or non-investment advice uh. I wouldn't bank on this ortex squeeze signal uh in terms of hey.

Yes, we're gon na have a massive massive move up 20 bucks today or tomorrow, or whatever it's basically just telling you there's some indicators that have crossed over there's boxes that are being checked that indicate that you should expect to see or could expect to see. Perhaps uh an uptick in in price action right and you are seeing that we are trending in the right direction. Uh. The only thing that i would urge is don't use that as a reason or excuse to to play a dangerous lotto uh.

Ultimately, it's your money. You do what you got to do, but it would it it. It makes me sad to watch people uh lose money on those lottos. So just be careful, that's all i have to say about that all right guys that is gon na, be the live stream.
