What's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, what's up, how are you doing guys welcome back, welcome back, welcome back to the traders, show 116. the bounce it's great to be here. It's great to see you guys! Jim ball was popping dripster perma ball von 1c fighting. I usually wait a couple minutes for uh for people to roll in before we get things rocking, so i'm gon na do that pardon me for looking at the ground titan's down by my ankles, and i never know he's trying to bite me or not.

What are you doing you trying to bite me? Hey, move all right good to see you john tostones jeopardy, josh, braden tana. I have a green tea because yeah there you go. That's why cowabunga yeah a lot of people will have channel intros for the first like five to ten minutes, but i figured the first five to ten minutes. While people are rolling in is a good time to catch up with you guys and see.

What's uh. What's popping and yeah dude it's a good day for the market, we're getting a nice nice little bounce here, let's uh, we'll pull it up and take a look in a little while uh we started up about a minute and a half ago, i'm gon na wait A second for everybody to roll in uh, so we don't have to repeat things because uh that typically happens and i'm used to it. I'm used to having to repeat things a couple times, but might as well knock out as many times as we can alexander thanks for the membership. I appreciate that when titan attacks yeah attack on titan dude, that's only my freaking, that's my life.

The anime attack on titan i i live that way. Every single day, it's brutal, so guys. What's popping it's your boy, trey we're back again. What have i done so far today, uh, i perused through twitter a little wait.

A little bit. I read through former chief branch lisa's uh thread talking about uh a pretty interesting concept. It's called expungement uh. The word sounds disgusting and therefore uh.

You can only assume that uh, the definition is probably just as bad. It's like the word moist like just listen. Expungement. You just say it out loud: it sounds up attendees thanks for the membership uh, but i read up on that and i did a little bit of studying uh we'll talk about that a little bit, because i find that to be actually pretty interesting concept.

Uh. Looking at the charts things, look pretty good amy's, actually bouncing off of the the fib level that i had outlined for for the last two days. Uh we'll talk about that in a little while as well uh, the only moist that i like, i saw somebody say they like the word moist. The only moist i like is moist critical, who, in the chat, drop a gorilla in the chat.

If you watch uh penguin, zero or moist critical, if there's a live streamer that i really enjoy watching, it's probably him i'd, say it's tied between moist, critical and ludwig uh, fun fact about me: the only finance youtuber that i really consume on a regular basis to Learn is meet kevin. I know that uh, some people don't like him, but in terms of knowledge and economic understanding. I think that he's always uh he's always learning stuff. There's always something to learn outside of that.
I really watch like uh ludwig moist critical. Those are kind of top two i'll catch. The new mr beast, video. Once a month i like calling in samir uh the psychology behind youtube's pretty interesting and they kind of dive into that pretty heavy uh yeah that'd, probably be it.

I'd probably be my my go-to's top four and then whatever is in my suggested, recommended page yeah. He can be sometimes vegas chef. Sometimes i think the thing about me kevin and you guys feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. This is just my take.

You know uh the thing about me kevin is he he sometimes feeds too much into the negative uh negative sentiment. You know what i mean like there's: a difference between constructive criticism, uh that you, you should listen to and just overall native sentiment, that won't change, and i think sometimes, when people get caught up in that and they spend too much time thinking about how to respond To to negative sentiment uh if people just don't like you, it's okay for people not to like you, and if you get caught up in that! Well, you just you just kind of get screwed set my oven clock it is set in it. Oh, i think the power went out last night braden. What's up dude uh, i had some protein oatmeal this morning, still working on putting on some weight.

I finished most of it. There's like a bite left. I was pretty full uh, that's about it. I don't know.

Uh not much not much going on just hanging out yo. What's up wired me kevin will end up being a short seller. I disagreed disagreed. I i strongly disagree with that and i'll tell you why the the market as a whole is always going to go up until the economy dies, and let me tell you this: okay: if the economy dies, the stock market will fail all right.

So if you're a short seller - and you went short on the dead market - guess what you've got all the money in the world, but it's worth nothing uh, there's! No! There's no world in which short sellers for the broad market are going to win short selling for the broad market is about timing, you're, trying to time things uh versus being long buying things in the market. There's not really not as much timing involved. Sure you could trade long if you'd like, but if you're an investor and you're just trying to to ride the overall waves of the market. Short selling doesn't work it just it just doesn't uh for individual companies.

Maybe if you want to bet on tesla going bankrupt or uh or apple or microsoft or netflix or this or that whatever you can do that but uh i i'd be surprised, i'd be surprised. Can you go over the executive order? I have a feeling that there could be a rug pull on the spy today. Uh we'll talk about that. I'm gon na give it a couple more minutes.
People are still starting to roll in once uh. Once it's been about 10-ish minutes or six minutes into the stream uh we'll dive into what we'd like to what i'd like to talk about today, and if you guys have questions we can dive into that stuff as well uh, but the executive order. In case you didn't catch, it is primarily about chinese stocks uh. It has been resigned twice now and uh both times that it was or both times it expired before it was resigned.

Uh you saw that meme stocks quote unquote, had uh uh nice pushes up now. I don't like the word meme stocks. Maybe we should come up with a better title. What do you think? What's a better title than meme stocks rocket stocks? Do you call them boom stocks uh, but anywho they've gone up right.

So the theory behind this, this uh executive order, expiring thing - is that joe biden will likely not resign. The executive order and people think that's going to influence uh the rocket stocks, whatever the amc in the game stops uh but we'll see what happens. You know in terms of how that's going to affect the spy today i i tend not to look towards uh timing down when, when documents come out, i like to look at specifically volume and price, and what i see right now out of the spy uh, which Is actually a a huge freaking turnaround? This is pretty nasty, is a nasty double bottom. You got an inverse head and shoulders coming into yesterday, uh another double bottom here today.

You can show you this here, really quick tapping just this level of support right here and it's formed out a big fat nasty. I don't even have to say it come on. It's a disgusting filthy, beautiful george, w, that's a double bottom right. Double bottom has come all the way up to this neckline, which is just beneath this 236 fib, retracement and uh.

If it breaks that, i think you see it run up to 440. if it rejects off this again, i stand by my my statement before i think if it rejects off this 236 uh you've got more pain in the market uh. So that's my thoughts, i'm not going to bank on and i know that's probably not the answer you want. I i know you wanted me to to maybe give some confirmation bias and i understand that right.

I want the stock market to go up, but i try to just pay attention to uh uh what the market's telling me. So what the market's telling me is double bottoms are bullish. Uh. You got a bullish bottom here.

If i'm looking at the daily uh candle volume, you've got about two hours left of the day, an hour 50 to go and the volume is not significantly high, but we still got about two hours and power hour for the spy is usually pretty strong uh. So the candle matches up you got a decent volume day uh following this push up to the fib, you could see a nice move and that's what i'm watching for overall, so uh taking a little bit of time, uh and i'm not gon na bank on times And dates for these these documents, i think that's uh. I think that's hopeful, instead of uh banking, on what you know what you can research. You know, that's not the discount right, i'm not here to discount your research.
I think that a lot of really smart people put together the research on that executive order, but sometimes, as we know, markets are irrational. It's interesting stuff, lewis, saying fundamentals. Don't matter right, all right, listen up! Listen up! I got no problem with with lou all right. I don't watch his stuff.

I i was a lie: okay, occasionally i'll watch this stuff. If i just want a good chuckle, if i want to sit there and laugh for a little while i'll turn him on and i'll, listen to him talk uh for about three minutes and i'll walk away, i'll walk away with uh. I felt i felt like i listened to three different people he's got like the like. The goofball personality he's got like the i'm, a big bad new yorking personality and he's got like the sincere.

I want to help you personality and i feel, like you, get to see all three of those personalities play out uh like 50 times in a in a video, and it's entertaining it's entertaining for sure. You know uh. But what i will say is this: quite straightforward fundamentals do matter. They do there's absolutely no debating that, especially as time passes.

The most important thing that i can say is when you're looking at a stock, especially uh, something like amc, gamestop bed, bath beyond etcetera, etcetera, etcetera, uh. If you want to see uh the long-term health of a company right, the longer that you're in a stock, the more fundamentals matter compared to a technical trade, a technical setup, a technical, whatever it's all important fundamentals, definitely do matter. Uh, matt's, halfway, elbows. Okay! First, don't stop youtube, we heart you! Second, how is gme perez cost the bar minimum a negative.

They give it away last. What did matt coors mean by if you were a chick, and he was straight he'd - be on you? Why? What did matt coors mean by? If you were a chick and he was straight he'd be on you, i'm trying to make that make sense. Huh. Are you trying to say that thanks? I don't know.

I don't know what that means. I i i i i i i don't know that i don't. I don't want to. I don't i don't know what the answer that is.

I don't know what the answer that is that don't i don't know that kind of fried my brain dude uh, but in terms of a cost to borrow negative, i have never seen a negative cost to borrow. Where did you see that? What ticker is that you know what it is dude, i'm all thick now. Look at me, i'm a big thick boy. All the steroids are working.

Oh man, all right, we've been we've waited enough time. It's been about 12 minutes. Guys. Welcome to the trader, show uh.

This is episode. 116, it's great to be back, it's great to see you! We are live every day from one o'clock to three o'clock p.m: central standard time, the last two hours of market open uh. If you're new here welcome if you're returning uh welcome it's great to have you my cat, titan's sleeping on my desk. We got a couple things to discuss today.
Markets are bouncing smooth operator. I see i see your question i'll get to that in here in a little bit uh the market today is bouncing, and you may be asking yourself why right uh there's a couple key things: we've talked about over the past couple uh a couple days: the the Big thing: being quantitative, tightening right and quantitative tightening is referencing uh. The federal reserves attempt to uh take cash out of their their balance sheet right. They've got a lot of money sort of stacked up on their balance sheet because over the last two years, they've practiced.

The opposite of that, which is known as quantitative easing quantitative easing, was the the federal reserve's response to uh sort of coven and lockdowns and and an economy that was in an economy that was struggling right. Essentially, what that did is they bought a whole bunch of treasury notes. They bought a bunch of mortgage-backed securities and it was a way to stimulate the economy. Well now they have to reverse that, because they want to get rid of nine trillion dollars worth of essentially uh assets on their balance sheet.

What that does is take a little extra liquidity out of the market, which is bad for the market, considering the fact that we're already in a low liquidity, environment, uh and two, it adds a little extra fear to the market. It's a and it's an attempt to sort of manage inflation, lower inflation a little bit well today, you got a relief bounce, essentially uh. The thesis that you would present to yourself today is that a decent amount of this quantitative tightening, which the fed has been talking about for quite some time, uh may have been priced in to some extent right. What you got here is a bottom at what appears to be about 407 dollars on the spy and i'm gon na get over to amc and gamestop, and all these different tickers in a little while it is important to go over this, because this is going to Affect amy gamestop and all the small mid cap companies.

You got a bottom here yesterday: inverse and shoulders got a nice move up broke down, and then we tested out that bottom one more time and this double bottom is a technical pattern. Uh that we're all pretty familiar with that is just saying hey. This is a level that, right now, the spy does not want to clap down beneath you got to bounce up off of that level and the most pure and simple way that i can put it uh, there's no fundamental news that i've. Seen from what i looked at that came out, that gives a reason as to why you got the double bottom.

It's just a technical bounce right! That's why i titled this. This show today is called bounce and because that's what this is, it's a double bottom, it's a george w and that's what i like to call it. My name is judge debbie. I think we got.
We got ta bounce off that double bottom, the big level and what the most important thing is, and i'm gon na keep saying this over and over and over and over and over until i'm blue in the face is uh. This two three six fib retracement now uh, why i say this is so important and i reference this all. The time is, if you look back at all the other corrections that we've had uh, namely 2008, and the 2019-2020 sort of covered flash crash. You saw that this 382 fib was tested and i'm drawing this from the bottom of the previous sell-off to the top of the previous rally uh.

What you'll see is it'll tap the 302 and typically test out the 236 and retrace more if there's more pain ahead. Right, you look back to 2008 and the exact same thing happened. You can see that it's sold off it taps to 382 comes up and tests 236. It rejects off the 236 and then there was a lot of pain ahead of us.

So i think, if you break above that 236 you're going to formally end that downtrend, in which case i don't think you fixed the economic problems. I don't think that things magically disappear, but you can say that there'd be some short-term relief, uh or even potential for a new uh all-time high for the spy, at least for a short period of time. So that's what i'm watching for you break that three. The two three six, you look pretty good.

You reject off that. I think that you're gon na mirror a lot of what we saw back in 2020 and a lot of 2008 uh. So that's the spy. That's my take on the spy i'm gon na get into uh amc more here in just a sec.

I want to come back and read this lou says: fundamentals on amy, don't matter for the potential squeeze since it's been manipulated, so bad enough for every stock. Peeps misinterpret info smooth operator interesting, interesting perspective, but i still disagree and i'm going to tell you why i disagree uh and it's because of this fundamentals, matter: uh, because when you're pricing a stock or a security, even if it's amc, even if it's manipulated, even if There are a ton of shares that are circulating around that should not be circulating around. If you had different fundamentals for amc, it would not be possible for this situation to exist, namely here's an example. Many many many people forget that tesla was the victim of the exact same predatory short sellers, predatory market makers and predatory hedge funds, institutions, banks and politicians that did not want to see the stock succeed right for many many years, uh tesla was sort of just a Startup they weren't really off the ground, yet they had some cars that were in production.

They sold a couple cars, but they didn't really make much progress. They weren't profitable, yet they weren't the tesla that we know here today. What changed everything was that elon musk was left with a choice. He said: okay nobody's listening to me.
I've talked to the sec they're, not listening to me. I've talked to these people they're, not listening to me. This problem's not going to get solved because short sellers are going to do what short sellers are going to do and politicians are always going to do this. They're going to say up can't see it.

I've got my eye covered. I can't see it can't see. It look at the other way look at this. This is your problem.

You know, and he said i'm gon na take matters in my own hands. He improved the fundamentals of the company. Tesla got better tesla got stronger. Eventually, tesla was such an attractive, buy that even if it was manipulated, people that had no interest in tesla looked at it and said, based on fundamental value and fundamental value alone.

I do not care how much manipulation there is uh. This is a buy because this stock is worth more than it's trading at right. Amc is a million percent capable of the exact same thing right. A lot of people forget amc.

Is cash flow negative right now quarter over quarter over quarter for the last year. We are still losing money, that's important! You changed that. I bet you. I bet you this right.

Somebody clipped this because i i am certain this would happen. If amc had two profitable quarters in a row, meaning that their cash flow positive, they are making more money than they're burning in a quarter. You have two of those quarters stacked in a row when that happens, the stock will be over 30 bucks pretty comfortably. That's my bet, that's my bet.

I i. I personally believe that if amc had two profitable quarters in a row, their cash flow positive for two quarters in a row comfortably, they would sit over 30 from a fundamental perspective, comfortably right. That makes a difference, and that's just based on being neutral, because what does that do it makes it a fundamentally attractive buy now. I still personally believe that amy amc is a fundamentally attractive buy even now, based on the the growth projection that we are seeing out of the company.

I mean adam aaron. A lot of people forget this gorilla's in the chat. If you remember, this, adam aaron stated that he thought that q1 of 2022 was going to be a bad quarter. He said in comparison to the previous three quarters.

This is going to be a bad quarter if that was his expectation of a bad quarter. What is to come in the future, because after stating this after stating q1 was going to be a bad quarter? What did he say? Q1 is going to be a bad quarter, but i expect q2 q3 q4 to continue to improve and they expect to eventually turn cash flow positive. We are on a beautiful growth projection and to make the statement to claim that fundamentals. Don't matter what the are you talking about like genuinely? What are you talking about if fundamentals, don't matter what happens if the fundamentals reach a point where they actually have to declare bankruptcy, you just say off to all the people that work at amc.
You say off to all the people who have invested in amc, because this is the truth of the matter. A technical trade, a manipulated stock is not going to care. If, if it should be this, if the fundamentals don't match it, if they've got no money, they can't continue to run. Well, then, what a bunch of people get screwed fundamentals matter this this company is not a meme, it's not a meme, it's not just something! We stare at a screen for right.

These guys provide jobs, they provide entertainment, they're, a part of culture and, to be frank with you, this is a part of lou's philosophy that i strongly disagree with. He says the popcorn stux: he does this all the time and that's it's because they are a company that provides real value to culture, they're, a company that provides real jobs to people. It matters 1 million. There's no arguing it there's just none.

You can't convince me of that for a second. So that's my argument. Sorry, i went on a rant, i didn't mean to rant. I just feel strongly about it.

Dude, it's important! It's important! It's real people on the line, man, it's not a joke and, to be frank with you until i see lou start sourcing things, i'm not even dating a man he's been right about stuff he's been wrong about stuff uh. I think that he's just he's just he's got to be more careful about the things he says because he's a real people, man, i'm going to leave it at that. Thanks for the five agents, uh back just check twitter message sent screenshot twitter message. Let me take a peek.

I know that was a long rant. Thank you guys for putting up with it f's in the chat i got. My blood worked up a little bit too much too much caffeine. This morning, unlike yesterday, i did have a monster before i started the live stream.

Today i was a little bit tired. A little bit tired, i'm still adjusting to a new schedule, got ta, be honest: i'm not quite used to the the grind that i'm on right now, but we're going to get back on board. I could just kind of have to suck it up a little bit. Oh, this casabarro minimum interesting, so i'm going to save this image and i'm going to show you guys here really quick.

This is actually an interesting concept. So what uh? What was just sent to my twitter dms by the real bobby real bobby, just sent me this and by the way, great name, my roommate in college uh. His name was sam, but i always called him bobby and the story behind it's actually pretty funny. Uh.

I met him and he was a shy kid. He was a shy kid and i said to him: i said: hey my name's trey yeah, i'm going to take care of you and i'm pretty sure, you're in the locker room and we were naked. We were just hanging out and he's like oh cool dude thanks and i said i'm going to call you bobby and he said why he said you look like a bobby. He said all right so from there on out the whole locker room started laughing and everyone started calling bobby.
He just ran with it, but anyways uh bobby sent me this bobby sent me this picture. I'm gon na pull it up here, really quick, maybe i'll just copy it and paste it into uh a discord message: quick that'll work all right. He sent me this cost to borrow minimum negative. So if you were to look at, i think this is maybe gamestop.

I would guess yeah game stop. The cost of borrow minimum is actually negative point two percent, so what that would mean and the most crazy way that i can say it uh. It actually means that you would get paid to borrow stock. I know that sounds insane, but for whatever reason or another uh one individual, the minimum, meaning that the absolute oh.

I haven't it's not on my screen, my bad, my bad, my bad, my bad here it is cos. The bar minimum is negative point two percent. That means whoever that lucky individual was that got the minimum on uh lending that stock. They got a negative point: two percent interest rate uh or a cost, to borrow you over a year, which means they're, making like point: zero, zero, zero one percent a day or whatever that would come out to for the math uh that they simply are just borrowing Stock how's that possible.

I have no idea i'd have to look into that, but uh, that's what that is. Absolutely man, hey thanks, tabaro! I like the new hairstyle too. It's growing in it's growing in nice in terms of amy today, right check this out uh yesterday and the day before, if you were here, drop some gorillas in the chat. I talked about this fib retracement level and a lot of people get get frustrated.

They say trey, uh, ta doesn't matter, and i understand i trust me. I get it there's been times when even i have i've said the same thing. I've looked at the chart and i've said i just don't understand how this is happening. You know uh you're, looking at this you're looking at that uh and trying to make sense of it, but nine times out of ten, it does work and we looked at the 618 level at 12.73, and i stated this for two days straight.

I said the 618. If it rejects off here, which it looks like it's going to, based on this closing bar of volume, based on this topping tail uh wick on the candle, i think it's going to sell off and if it does, we know one thing for certain and it's that Amy loves the 618, which is 1273.. What you got right here is a bounce off of that 1273.. We got a beautiful, beautiful bounce off that uh, that 1273 618 fib retracement and it's starting to make a move back up.

I drew that out a couple days back and it's doing exactly this uh, and i think this is actually a pretty nice setup for continuation now. What you're looking at here is a higher lows, higher highs, sort of set up, and until it breaks sort of this trend, higher low higher high higher low higher high higher low. You want to see this continue on to set another higher high. The uptrend is still intact and that's what i'm waiting on that's what i'm watching for so we're in a good spot.
I think that 618 bounce is pretty healthy. I don't mind sort of the situation that it's in and from what i am tracking and from what i understand. I'm still watching this same sort of setup. I am watching for a touch point or a tap on this falling level of resistance.

As long as the spy can continue to rally the way that it has, it is completely contingent on that uh. You really do want to see uh the spy continue to have the green that it has, and it looks like it's. It's really setting up to do that right. Now, it's at 415.37, on the day, just set a new intraday high, flagged down here a little bit about three bucks short of that two three: six fib retracement, and if it can get that 418 buck mark you're.

Looking pretty dang strong, so that's where i'm at i'm still, i'm still short-term. Looking pretty happy about this uh, it looks looks solid, doesn't look bad. I got ta be honest though this uh, this triple top on the spy. Looked like a rejection.

I mean this. This is a lot of attempts to try and break that 236 and it's coming back up to retest it again, which is some pretty interesting strength granted, albeit so far as his low volume. We got an hour and a half left on the day, we'll see what actually happens, uh but strong spy equals strong amy. I stand by that amc's up currently 2.26 of the day and game stop up about 7.46 and gamestop in case you're curious is tracking exactly what we talked about, which was a retest of this support line.

Gruelist man, i'm telling you this is beautiful. You couldn't write this up any better. This looks absolutely massive. You got the breakthrough reclaiming this triangle that gamestop was trading in, for literally months a year a year and a half you know year and a half straight reclaims.

It you're getting a bounce ping-pong right off of the top of what was previously resistance now, acting again as support. That's beautiful. This is very, very bullish that looks good. It really does it looks beautiful.

It's a beautiful bounce out of game, stop uh and amc. Getting a bounce today i'll be a little bit weaker right. This is a weaker bounce out of amc today, uh, but this bounce is also a good setup. The six one, eight not quite as strong as the technical perspective of reclaiming a year and a half long uh sort of uh triangle, but this looks this looks solid.

This is good. I just hired a tremaine no way yeah, it's my name tremaine! You spell the wrong, though, there's no y there, it's t-r-e-m-a-y-n-e, i go by tremaine because nobody ever says my name right. Even my grandpa, my grandpa, don't even say my name right. He calls me germaine, uh diamond cajones, says i've heard multiple rumors of popcorn shortage.
I have not heard of that. I haven't heard of that at all. Let me look it up. Oh, my camera froze i'll get it hold on hold on hold on mike thanks for the membership, man appreciate that popcorn shortage supply chain woes create popcorn shortage for movie theaters looking for summer rebound a shortage on popcorn.

It's a must order when you go to the movies, but now some movie theaters are seeing a popcorn shortage. Just as the summer blockbuster season starts, as top gun maverick, shattered memorial day weekend box office records, more and more people are returning to movie theaters some for the first time since before the pandemic, but moviegoers may be missing a beloved staple thanks to supply chain problems. The same issue that has impacted cars and furniture for about two years is now hurting supplies. At movie.

Theater concession stands for a certain time. A few months ago it was difficult to get the canola oil for the popcorn. It wasn't because they didn't have enough oil. It's because they didn't have the glue to enclose the box that the oil bib goes in.

Isn't that up? You know what this comes back to this supply chain shortage comes down to a employee shortage people. People want to get paid more for their job, because cost of living has gone up significantly in the last two years, and people don't want to offer them the higher wages. Because of that there's less people that are that are available to make things work. You know said: ryan went to the director of operations and technology at prospector, theater, ridgefield, uh connecticut.

This is actually interesting. I want to ask about uh, maybe i'll, should i you guys, let me know, should i subtweet adam aaron see if he answers, i can ask him get some eyes on it. Why not huh shoot him a tweet and say hey uh reading about the popcorn shortage uh, you guys having any problems over at amc with with uh popcorn, because, as you guys all know, the concession stand is one of uh one of movie theater's best profit generators. If you look at this profit margins on popcorn, it's actually very, very high, popcorn and pop are some of the the highest sort of profiting uh foods that you can sell over at b dubs.

I remember my manager told me this once when i, when i used to work there, he said uh trey. It cost about three cents to to make a glass of uh mountain dew and we charged 299.. It's really really cheap, really cheap, but here you go uh pop profit margins on popcorn, pretty sure it's like 80 to 90 percent. It's very high here, maybe just search it a different way: popcorn profit margin, i'm pretty sure it's like 80 to 90 percent.

I remember reading that yeah right here. Popcorn is no savior, even with eight dollar popcorn and 84 profit margins, blah blah blah blah blah 84. It's a very large part of uh movie, theater revenue, so bad publicity. If you do it, how is it bad publicity uh and i'm genuinely asking? If it's is it? Is it bad publicity to ask if, if amc is going to be affected by the the movie, theater uh or the popcorn shortage, i think that's just a genuinely uh.
Sincere question: you know um, it's not just one article though right, there's multiple and if it's the truth, then it is what it is. It'd just be interesting to know mike. Thank you, man, uh. No, you can ask, but you won't get a straightforward answer.

Unless it's no, this could move amc stock. There's no popcorn shortage, that's absurd! I mean what are these articles? I don't know that's why i wanted to ask it's just a genuine question: sam, what's up dude, it's good to see you, we say coke, not pop see. How do you refer to like a like a mellow, yellow or an orange fanta as a coke? Hey i'll have a coke. What if i actually want a sprite? If i want a sprite and i ask for a coke, then i'm going to get a coke.

It's pop! It's pop baby, nah, it's pop in minnesota. You say pop. I know people are gon na. Ask for vortex data so i'll give you a quick update, small change.

The most significant is the cost to borrow average and maximum have gone up. A slight amount uh mike. Thank you. Man, costa bar average, is 12 percent.

Maximum is about 20. utilization's. Still capped shares on loan up about a mill to 176 mill. Shorter interest is about 23 slight increase.

I'm gon na take a poll i'm actually interested in this pop or soda. This is gon na give me a good idea. Uh, a good idea of geographical location interested to see paul's live in chat. Oh boo, everyone's voting soda, who the heck calls it that it's pop it's pop, i'm telling you it's pop, sodapop or or you could be uh, who are those girls that call it a saudi? You know what i'm talking about.

There's twins, i think, they're on the the show my 500 pound life or something like that, and they they call pop sodie. Is that a thing do people refer to it as a sodie pop dude? It's just pop. Looking at things on the five minute, you got a double top right here: double top rejection right at this fib level, you see one top two top a little bit of a rejection, you're watching for these different fit marks. That was at the point, five uh.

First up you're looking at this, could form up a head and shoulders. To be honest, i'm curious to see what iwm and the spy are doing right now, but it could track something like this, so the two optionalities one would be to push up. One would be uh to form that right shoulder, and i think you get a slight push down to about here. Two options watching for watching for both uh gamestop pull this up quick game, stop showing that same double top funny how this works by the way funny? How two completely fundamentally different companies, one's debt-free, uh, one works on video games, one works on nfts, uh and the other is uh.
Has debt their movie theater business and they've got the exact same chart on the day funny how that is so strange. So i'm forming up the same sort of opportunity here. This could be a double top uh opportunity for this you're looking for a continuation of this uptrend. If it continues that uptrend you're looking good, remember higher lows higher highs, you continue to set that you look pretty good, so you need to set another high high and then a lower a higher low.

Alongside that you're. Looking alright for game stop same thing to be said, for amc uh to continue that uptrend, so we shall see midwest, i need a cold pop. It's a pop dude! It's a pop look at all the people in chat that are just wrong, calling it soda the story about popcorn shortage is based off of one quote from a rep at cinemacon and states. They are a small fish and doesn't represent the entire industry.

Okay, can you link it i'd, be interested in checking it out if you link it, how come a can't do a share recount like if he thinks there's naked shorts, wouldn't he figure out a slate slay way to call it out uh so mike all, i can Say is is what his guidance has been right in the previous earnings call. He said, don't don't mistake, uh silence for inaction and what i think he meant by that is he's watching the situation. He understands that there's something fishy going on with his stock and he's waiting for an opportunity now think of it like this. I think about this all the time and i'm just baffled that more people don't talk about this, like i've brought this up probably ten times in the last six months, since this happened, but like it or hate it enjoy the company hate the company ater ceo has Come out and literally said that this this company, this stock is naked, short sold and nothing happened.

In fact, bad things happened. He came out with the tweet with proof, with research with data and said i have proof that my stock is being naked, short sold and literally the same day, the stock went down down the importance and significance behind proving it at the right time and having some Sort of action to follow through with it is massive. Now there are differences right and i'm not that i'm not naive enough to think there's not aider, there's just not as much of a following for right, not as many people uh care about aider, as perhaps amc or gamestop. That's truth.

I think that's very true, and because of the lack of attention uh, maybe you just got less of a response. It's possible uh. I think it's absurd. I can't believe that this, like it's people that seem to have forgotten, which is, i have no idea how? Because it's literally proof that everything you guys are talking about that we've been talking about uh have been legit, you know, and nothing happened.
So adam aaron's got to be very careful about the way that he goes about. It he's got to have a plan and if you can follow through with a plan to to punish these people and have a course of action that will follow through and fix the problem, then you're cooking, right uh, i wouldn't know the answer to it. How do you, how do you manage uh naked short shares? How do you manage a stock that is uh, that is, that is short sold or being pushed down or pushed up and left and right in whatever direction? How do you manage that right? It's a very difficult thing to do. I would know how to do it in his shoes.

I would have no idea uh, so i would imagine that's that. That's the best case scenario. The worst case scenario is he's gaslighting. I don't know.

I guess we have to wait and see what it is to me. It really is a problem that falls down on the sec. Now, don't get me wrong. This is adam aaron's company and there are things that adam aaron's done, that i don't agree with.

There's things that he's done that i do agree with uh, but at the end of the day, adam aaron should not be responsible for managing market mechanics. You should not be responsible for having to fix a problem such as a stock, that's being targeted and pushed down in any way, shape or form. His job is to manage the company it's not to manage how the company's traded - that's the sec's job. You know they should just do their damn job.

What are their tack? What are our tax dollars going towards? Oh, i know i know what they're going towards they're going towards videos that make fun of us how about instead of pissing away. However, many hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars towards that stupid game show they just i don't know, maybe take care of aiders naked short shares. Maybe they take down a hedge fund. Maybe they manage manage to fix payment for overflow.

Maybe they take care of some problems. That's the sec thing. That's a market! Mechanics thing! You know it's messed up all right. Well, i'm ending this poll because that's just sad to look at, i can't believe soda won that that's sad, very sad, hey mike! Thank you! Man, oh, the sec, is starting a blind eye and i i got ta be honest right.

I i'm a realist. I like to label myself as a realist right uh i like to believe that it's important to look at things for what they are and not what you want them to be, but one area that i am optimistic and i don't know why. Maybe i should just stop being optimistic, but i'm optimistic that there will eventually come a day in which uh the market can fix itself and the you can. You can take power away from the people on top and redistribute it so that equal amounts of power exist on the top and bottom like it should be right, uh and to see that sec - video really just through in our face, how much they actually pay attention.

But do not give a it's very sad. Man makes you feel jaded more pro water than pop, so hairy. Today, yeah, i'm growing my beard out growing the beard in the hair out. It's a vibe man, it's a vibe! I feel like i just look goofy like i look like such a kid.
Without facial hair man uh, i just need it, i need it. Otherwise. I just look like a like a chicken man. Ah other thing that was discussed today, i said i was gon na touch on this, and this is coming from lisa uh, who in shannon is familiar with lisa, if you're not you should be.

I think this is a very worthwhile follow and she's uh. If you have twitter, of course, i think she's a worthwhile follow and definitely worth uh paying attention to for a little while, if you want sort of an inside scoop from a prior service. Member of the sec uh lisa was the former sec branch chief and she's got a lot of experience, obviously working with these goofballs and she came out publicly and discussed something today that i found to be very interesting now. How many people here can remember drop a girl in the chat? If you remember this, when retail investors went out of their way to tell robin hood how much they hated, what they did right remember when their their app store had a five-star rating and everyone slapped into it and reddit went nuts because it dropped from five stars Down to like one star, you guys remember that everyone came in and they clapped them with some bad reviews.

Uh said it straight said: you guys took away the buy button. You screwed over all these people. This is my problem. This is my experience.

I want you to know about it and all of a sudden that one-star rating disappeared. They went back to a five-star, basically overnight. Who remembers that? Well guess what there's a name for it, and it's legal you ready for this coming from lisa expungement right here! Expungement is the reason that you got what you got. If you don't know what expungement is i'll explain this in the most simple way possible.

Expungement is the ability to essentially snap your fingers and make criticism uh evaporate, and that is exactly what happened with robin hood. Back then, so i tweeted about this, because i think this is flying really under the radar, and i think more people should should be reading on this. Expungement is essentially a way, and it's kind of what to be honest. The sec is doing by having the comments turned off on their video of making fun of retail investors uh, but her talking on expungement is really relatable when you look at sort of uh brokers and their ability to hide mistakes, robin hood being the most perfect example That i can think of because we've literally seen that happen uh to me this is nuts because i think of it like this look, i'm kind of a douche bag.

Okay, i do drive a tesla. Some people, don't like that. I drive a tesla. That's fine! You don't have to uh, but people that drive tesla's yeah.
They usually speed and usually douche bags. I'll do a little bit of both i've gotten three speeding tickets driving right. Every time i got a speeding ticket. I had to pay it fine, and the repercussion of that is that my insurance has gone up on my car now.

Can you imagine if all of a sudden, you can just say, huh these three speeding tickets, my insurance going up. I don't really like this, so i'm gon na snap, my fingers and make it disappear. Well, that's what these guys do? They don't want to deal with repercussions, so i can just do this and not have to deal with it ever again until it happens again, in which case i can just keep it doing this nonsense and get away with their it's actually pretty crazy to think about. Dude john just want to say thanks uh, you helped change my life last year.

My family is in such a better position. I appreciate that john thanks bro thanks dude. Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you, you're the man. I appreciate all you guys that are in chat right now. It really is a pleasure. It really is.

That was the majority of what i wanted to talk about today. Uh we'll be tracking uh sort of market movement. If there's anything that uh you're tracking you want me to look at uh, i will certainly do so, and if there's not you know, that's cool too you just uh you just. Let me know what is uh.

What's on the radar, they're rich cry: babies yup, who is this clown steven morales, my name's trey yeah? You get a dui, oh actually derek! How about this? What about uh? What about nancy pelosi's husband huh, the dewey? What are the odds that gets expunged? I'm curious! You think that nancy pelosi's uh husband's dewey will get expunged. Game is rigged, but we can't beat them at their own games. It's 900 meter sprint. This is a marathon.

Rome didn't fall overnight, be patient, interesting! It's interesting! You bring that up man, because uh tmi and i is a friend of mine, tmi and i have talked about the difference between this marathon versus sprint mentality, uh, and i think it's it's pretty applicable here right. I think a lot of people are viewing this as a sprint when, in reality, uh the people you're up against are billionaires and trillionaires, and it's gon na be very, very difficult to to see the change. Uh see the change you want, especially with the market conditions. We have right now.

You know i'm not here, to tell you what to do. I never will be uh. Ultimately, if you want to buy stuff, you want to sell stuff, that's on you, but this is crazy, stuff, you're up against man. This isn't a this.

Isn't a this isn't a myth. This isn't a game despite the narrative that some people want to spin, including the sec, it's not a game. This is real life and in real life, people will do anything to make you the the problem instead of the victim. It's insane trade do a poll marathon or sprint.
I bet hey, be honest right, there's, there's no harm in you, uh voting one way or the other nobody's gon na know. How do you view this community marathon or a sprint drop drop? A uh drop a number either way: iron man marathon. There you go 90 of people, think it's a marathon 10 think it's a sprint. There are no trillionaires in the world, ken genius you'll be the first, i'm sure you'll be the first.

I can see the headline now: ken griffin, first trillionaire, thanks to stealing from retail administrators, bastard man. I feel so honored that ken griffin's in the chat, what a guy, what a guy hey, listen! If you think that this is a sprint, i got ta ask you how's your endurance. You can interpret that whatever way. You'd like oh man, that's some funny stuff, i'm sorry, i'm stupid, i'm so dumb! I don't know what to tell you, i'm so dumb.

Gamestop is back yeah there. She goes still maintaining that up line still setting higher highs higher lows. That's what you need redbox! Oh. I wanted to talk about this.

I wanted to talk about this guys who was here yesterday, who is here who is here. Remember this: who is here six one, eight, the six one, eight pounds: dude cow, ah bunga, you couldn't write it up any better. I don't know if that was either doge. Colt, but you got the six one: eight bounce out of uh out of red box.

This is actually really clean, really really super duper. Clean, downtrend break, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap tap now, starting to set higher lows higher highs. Here's a high here's, the bottom higher low, higher high higher low higher high or higher higher low, higher high higher low higher high high or low it's just going back and forth. It's good.

It looks solid red box si there you go 158 percent, rehypothecation more shares shorter than presently exist. Still game stops moving yeah there you go dude. I appreciate you ben thanks, dude it just broke over this double top. That looks.

Nice looks like it's going to try to avoid this head and shoulder setup, and if uh gamestop is doing that, then amy is probably going to track this sort of setup. If it follows through with that same movement, if not head shoulder shoulder the potential, is there watching for both options? Todd sent me a video. Are you berserker all right hold on hey? It's chair? We choose to go to the moon, definitely cool man. There's a lot of people in this dude, it's pretty crazy to think about all the people on twitter that are uh that are here rocking it.

You know. Have you ever thought this thought by the way? Have you ever thought about how many people in the world live their own? Individual lives have their own own success stories and failures, uh happiness, sadnesses and all these crazy, crazy, uh stories to tell and there's just billions of people like that, every single day, including every person in our community on twitter, isn't that nuts? That's just crazy for me to think about. That's some simulation. You think anyone is contemplating a brown paper bag scenario on genzler, asparino or griffin brown paper bag.
You mean like put a bag over their head. Are you saying they're ugly? Isn't it isn't it like? The brown paper bag thing when you think somebody's ugly, so you want to put a bag over their head. Is that the thing are you saying that gasparino gary gensler and uh and ken griffin are just ugly? I don't know i don't know, i mean this makes about as much sense as as matt claiming that if i was a chick if he was a chick and he was straight that he'd he'd me, i think that's what was said earlier, but i don't know. I didn't hear it.

This is just word of mouth. I couldn't tell you for sure i feel like that was cap, but i don't know i have no idea. How might amc slash short stocks react to executive order tomorrow. What do you think happens? Ah dustin? The correlation has been the last two times that they went up uh leading into it.

You typically saw uh momentum and i don't think you see the same momentum this time, as you did. The last few times see this momentum back here before 25 dollars. Right. We don't quite have that same momentum right now.

You can see this momentum back here similar, but not quite i i suppose you could make the comparison. That 34 is the same as 14.50. You got that pullback. It came up and retested 34..

So, if we're, if we're following that sort of track, this u-shape, maybe but it seems like we're lagging a little behind it - would depend we'd, have to wait and see if we get this u-shaped recovery, that's really what you're waiting on! I always there on the side of caution: i'm not a opium guy, i'm a realist uh and, in my opinion, i think that people are grasping too hard on to this june 3rd date. Correct retail, yeah, tesla tesla had a struggle. I think a lot of people forget that that tesla could have gone bankrupt. You know same as amc.

Tesla could have gone bankrupt, let that sink in the one of the one of the country's most powerful companies could have gone bankrupt. Cost of borrow uh 12 average 19 max levi scott is saying 500k minimum. All right, i'm not here to tell you what to think right, you formulate your own opinion. I strongly believe in that strongly very very, very strongly.

I want to show you something: let's do some math check this out. I want to show you guys i'm going to pull up two different images and we're just going to do some math and then from there. You can make your own decisions and i think that's a fair thing to uh to say right. I am going to show you a picture of how much money the fed has printed in the previous couple years.

Right, uh check this out. This is current money supply. If you look at money supply what you're going to find is in the previous two years, the federal reserve has printed approximately 16 and a half to 17 trillion dollars right check this out 2020. You saw about 4 trillion up to about 21 trillion dollars, uh based on billions, so you'd multiply that it comes out to 21-ish trillion dollars right.
So if we know this fed's printed about 21 trillion and obviously there's leverage and there's this and there's that there's all this crazy stuff, but we're gon na rock, with this uh, this 21 trillion right there, we go obviously there's more money that circulates within the united States economy than just this, why margin, debt and rehypothecation? I think that there's money that gets used and reused and reused and reused many many many many times. I believe that i really do right truly truly do what was the side effects of the federal reserve printing off 16 trillion dollars right? Well, if you were to take a peek, we'll show you, inflation rates check this out current u.s inflation.
